Collaboration agreement between the International University of Valencia (VIU) and DIDE
Students of the Master’s Degree in Bullying and Mediation from the International University of Valencia (VIU) will have access to the DIDE tool thanks to new agreements that the company has reached with the University.
DIDE helps observe children from 2 to 18 years old by facilitating the collection of relevant information, both from the family and school environment, favoring the early detection of learning and development difficulties, as well as attention to their needs.
VIU students will have access to the DIDE usage license, which includes up to 35 indicators with their respective questionnaires and allows for a comprehensive analysis of children’s development and learning.
Previously, in 2020, DIDE and the International University of Valencia (VIU) signed a collaboration agreement so that students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education can become familiar, through a pilot project, with the DIDE application to learn to identify the educational difficulties and needs of children from 2-3 years of age. This pilot has been extended to other degrees, as is the case with the Master’s in Bullying.
In addition, joint actions are carried out within this agreement to facilitate and ensure the best training and employment of students and graduates, better addressing their changing needs, as well as carrying out teaching, educational, and research activities.

Present at the signing of the current agreement were Francesc Llorens, Academic Director of the Faculty of Education Sciences; Alberto Ramírez, director and founder of the DIDE educational platform, Gemma Ruiz Varela, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences; Gloria Moya, Director of Development of the aforementioned faculty.
The management team of VIU, aware that the solution begins with the early detection of the educational needs of students, joins the DIDE effect by transmitting the methodology to its students, future education professionals, and Master’s students, thus contributing to promoting the self-esteem and performance of children during their school years, and reducing early dropout rates.
The teachers are an important agent in detecting problems that interfere with the learning and development of students, therefore, it is very important that they have the appropriate tools, as is the case with DIDE.
The family and the school, each from their own field and in a complementary manner, can appreciate in children indications or signs of problems in the basic capacities and behaviors for learning: motor, socialization, language skills, attention and perception difficulties, and cognitive or emotional problems, behavior, allowing a successful intervention that facilitates the affected child a psycho-evolutionary development that maximizes their possibilities,
Being a teacher implies something more than a category or a social position; it is not a throne from which to observe, judge, or give orders. Being true teachers is an exercise for the brave; it is fighting daily, making decisions, running, fighting, worrying, but also guiding, leading, accompanying, listening… (Víctor Soler, PhD in sociology and DIDE Advisor).
The DIDE educational platform received the Seal of Excellence from the European Union in November 2019. According to its director, Alberto Ramírez: “for the granting of this Seal, evaluation by a large number of independent experts from various countries is necessary, and therefore, it represents a recognition of great international value for our education team of the VS Group.”
