mSchools Lab, an initiative of Mobile World Capital Barcelona and mSchools, is an open innovation program that, through public-private collaboration, promotes the identification, piloting, and evaluation of the impact of digital solutions with the potential to contribute to the improvement and digital transformation of education.
At the end of 2023, it launched its first call to seek innovative technological solutions that contribute to motivation, personalization of learning, and school success. Projects from both national and international spheres that contribute to this purpose through the transformative, healthy, and safe use of technology in the classroom can participate.
The winning initiatives will be adapted and piloted in public and subsidized schools in Catalonia.
The Pitch Day of the second edition of mSchools Lab will be held next Thursday, April 3, where six finalists will present their EdTech solutions to a jury composed of representatives from academia, public administration, the EdTech industry, educational institutions, and research and health areas. This jury will select two winning proposals that will be adapted and piloted during the 2025-2026 school year in public and subsidized schools in Catalonia.
Among the finalists is Dide.org, a digital tool that collects information from teachers and families to analyze learning and development patterns in students, providing immediate intervention guidelines to reduce waiting times in specialized services.
The other finalist solutions are:
- ATENXIA (Spain): Uses AI and gamification to assess attention and reading skills from an early age, designing personalized interventions in real time for students with ADHD and dyslexia.
- Cogniphant (Estonia): AI-powered platform for the detection and intervention of ADHD in schools, offering real-time reports, personalized strategies, and training for educators and families.
- Key2Enable Assistive Technology (United Arab Emirates): Assistive technology for early detection and intervention in neurodiverse children, offering adaptive learning paths and emotional regulation tools.
- NeurekaLAB (Spain): Digital tool to identify difficulties related to dyslexia and dyscalculia, personalizing learning in language and mathematics.
- Sincrolab (Spain): Cognitive trainer based on AI and neuroscience that improves working memory, attention, and executive functions in students.
The winners will be announced on Monday, April 7. For more details on the finalist solutions, visit the mSchools Lab website.
